As an added food option in Balboa Park, there will be a local food truck located near Spanish Village Arts Center daily. The food trucks will vary by week, and will be open from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and 11:00 am - 4:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Free Weekly Park Walking Tours
For the added convenience of out-of-town visitors and local groups, the Balboa Park Conservancy is now offering private custom tours on a pre-arranged basis to anyone interested in booking one. The one-hour walking tours of the historic Central Mesa section of the park are given by highly trained Balboa Park Visitors Center staff and volunteers who explore the park’s rich history, spectacular architecture, and botanical wonders.
A wide variety of options make Cafe in the Park a perfect place to grab a bite. From salads to sandwiches, soup, paninis, baked goods, specialty coffees, and even breakfast options, Cafe in the Park has something for everyone.
Cafe in the Park is located in the Casa del Balboa building, between the San Diego History Center, and the Museum of Photographic Art.
This exciting space connects with our research library and provides gifts with an emphasis on San Diego culture (arts and design, surf, skate and beer), the store has something for everyone.
