The International Dance Association of San Diego is a non-profit organization sponsored by the City of San Diego, and is dedicated to promoting and encouraging dancing as a social recreation for the public.
Bon Temps Social Club Logo
THE BON TEMPS SOCIAL CLUB OF SAN DIEGO was established with its first dance on Valentine's Day in 1991 by Peter Oliver and Maryann Blinkhorn to spread their love of Louisiana Cajun dancing to the San Diego community.
Super Sonic Samba School Dancers
Super Sonic Samba School is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that has been entertaining San Diego residents and guests with the pulsating rhythms of Brazil for more than 25 years. From the strong African influence of Samba Reggae from Northeastern Brazil, to the latin flavor of Rio-style Carnaval, every passerby will find it easy to stop and groove! The school provides drum and dance instruction for all ages and all levels.
Grand March
The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society demonstrates that Scottish country dancing is Scotland's ballroom dance. It is a social dance for dancers of all ages and background. Dances are performed in sets, usually with six to eight dancers. Not be confused with individual dances like the Highland Fling or Sword Dances, country dancing is a couple's dance. It is much like the type of dancing seen in period drama films. Some call Scottish Country Dancing the ancestor of American Square Dancing.
Pride of Erin Ceili Dancers
The Pride of Erin Irish Ceili Dancers is a family-friendly group teaching traditional Irish ceili and set dances every Wednesday evening in Balboa Park. No partners or previous experience are required to enjoy these delightful dances from around Ireland. Have fun and get an aerobic workout all to our lively Irish music.
Balboa Park Dancers

Balboa Park Dancers meets weekly on Friday and Sunday nights at the historic Balboa Park Club in Balboa Park. We provide an inspiring environment and huge hardwood dance floor for learning and improving dance skills. Each class night we teach group lessons at 3 levels of instruction, beginning, intermediate, and advanced, in one smooth or standard ballroom dance and one rhythm or latin style, changing dances monthly; we have practice time before and after the classes.
