EDUCATION
Education-for all ages-is a primary focus of Balboa Park. There are educational programs, initiatives, workshops, guided tours, lectures, seminars, storytelling, outreach programs, schools and classes available throughout the Park. Also, Park institutions offer teacher resources, docent programs, reference libraries and archives. Anyone who wants to understand and/or participate in the various disciplines represented in the Park will find a dynamic learning environment for children and adults.
Most institutions also offer special prices for students and teachers. There are scouting programs, school visits, and a 5th Grade School in the Park for classes from the San Diego School District. Each institution offers its own courses, lectures and educational programs and the Park offers general park wide tours.
